In recent years, cybersecurity has emerged as a very critical issue because hackers are breaching into sensitive government and corporate networks across countries without any discrimination. With the advancement in protective technologies against cyber attacks, the hackers have shifted their focus to exploiting human vulnerabilities that arise due to lack of cyber awareness. The biggest hack of the year 2016 against Democratic National Convention in the United States was carried out through the sophisticated technique of Spear phishing. In India, around 3.2 million debit card details were stolen from a premier ATM payment services network. An unaware employee is now counted as a vulnerability that jeopardizes entire organizational security significantly increasing cyber risk.
To counter such threats globally including India, Cyware has emerged as a unique security solution provider that focusses on eliminating human vulnerabilities through real-time Cyber Situational Awareness and Information Sharing. Cyware has successfully deployed its Enterprise Solution at leading financial and technical firms in the United States. In India, Cyware is working with Government of Telangana in employee awareness and securing human endpoints through real-time updates. The cybersecurity firm is now in the process of scaling up its operations throughout the world and it is with this development in the background, the joining of Anindya Sharma comes as a major boost to the company.
Akshat Jain, Co-founder Cyware Labs, commenting on the development said, “We are thrilled to have Anindya joining our core team as the CTO, responsible for driving global technology strategy and innovation. In a very short span of time, Cyware has carved out its own niche in the realm of cyber security offering innovative Cyber Situational Awareness based solutions to leading corporates and governments. Anindya’s presence will be crucial as we scale up things globally and take innovation in cyber security to the next level. His technical expertise, leadership skills and vast knowledge of the industry will play a pivotal role in our future success.”
